Mokmyeoksan Bongsudae (목멱산 봉수대) is also referred to as Mongmyeoksan Bongsudae or Mongmyeoksan Beacon Hill Site. This site can be found uphill along the way to N Seoul Tower and has a series of five beacons in a row that look like large stone beehives. These were part of a nationwide fire and smoke warning system used long ago in Korea’s history. The picture here was taken from the inside of one of the beacons looking up into the sky.
