Split Crossing

shinjuku busy crossing

Shinjuku in Tokyo, is a major district (technically it’s a ‘special ward’ of Tokyo) of commerce and administration. It boasts, among other things, the main night life entertainment district of Tokyo, and the world’s busiest railway station (this being Shinjuku Station itself). It’s a vibrant, busy and fun area. During the day, you can visit some parks and gardens, do some shopping, eat some good food, visit some cultural centers, get some great views of the city from the tall buildings in the area. Late into the night the shopping and food remain, but now there are all the clubs, pubs, bars, etc. that you can visit as well. Pictured here is one of the many busy crossings you will find in the area.
